我叫景松石，今年16周岁，来自美丽的湖滨城市—无锡。今天我非常荣幸地站在上海光华学院复旦附中校区的这个讲台上，与大家共度这美好的时刻。

My name is Jing Songshi， sixteen years old，from a beautiful lakeside city――Wuxi . Today I’m so luckyto spend this wonderful moment with everybody in Shanghai Guanghua College, Fudan Campus.

来这之前，我就读于江苏省华罗庚中学高一年级，那是一所有着90多年光荣历史和优良学习环境的江苏省省级重点中学，培养了许许多多优秀的人才，其中就包括第一届毕业生----数学家华罗庚。还有我尊敬的祖父和父亲也是从这所学校毕业的。

Before coming here, I’m a student in Senior one in Hua Luogeng High School, which isone of the key high schools in Jiangsu Province with ninety years’ glorious history andgood learning environment. Hua Luogeng High School has cultivated so manyoutstanding talents, including the first graduates―mathematician Hua Luogeng.And my dear father and grandfather also graduated from this school.

我很感谢我的母校，那里的老师对我严格要求，又不失关爱。在严谨的校风影响下，我努力用功，一年下来，学到了很多知识，进步很快，最终在高一学期期末考试全年级921名考生中名列第三，还被评为三好学生，这不仅是对我一年努力学习的勉励，同时也鞭策我今后继续努力学习。在此，我感谢我的母校以及那里的老师！

I appreciate my Alma mater, everyteacher was so strict on my study and cared about my life so dearly. Rigorous school spirit made me studyhard. After one year, I have made great progress , I was ranked the third out of 921 students in Senior One in Hua Luogeng High School in therecent end term exam, and earn honor for “Excellent student”. The honor not only praises mefor the past effort, but also encourages me to continue studying hardin the future. I thank my Alma mater and my teacher there.

但是我还是有一个梦想―――上欧美名牌大学。因为我在父母的影响下从小就梦想要上欧美名校。我想，如果能与欧美一流大学的来自世界各地的优秀学生共同学习，共同进步，才会拥有更广阔的国际视野、了解更多的西方文化、掌握更先进的科学知识，使自己获得更好的发展，将来才能为社会、为人类做出更大的贡献！

Since I was a child, I had a dream thatI want to go to Europeon or American famous university. My dream comes from myparents' influence. I think if I could learn together with outstanding studentsfrom all over the world in a Europeon or American first-class university, Iwill have a wider international view ,I can understand more about westernculture and master more advanced science knowledge. I will get a betterdevelopment so that to make more contributions to human beings and society inthe future!

正是怀揣着这样的梦想，我依依不舍地离开家乡，离开我可爱的同学们，来到上海光华学院复旦附中校区.

Because of my dream, I have to leave mylovely home town, leave my lovely classmates to come Shanghai Guanghua College， Fudan Campus.

在父母的眼里，我永远是个小孩，他们有点担心。但是，我想告诉爸爸妈妈的是：小鸟长大了就要在天空展翅翱翔，我长大了也要在茫茫世界中划出自己的人生轨迹,不用担心。我既然来到这里，就已知道来这里的目的，也深知未来的责任，一句话：我已经准备好了，我要用自己的实际行动让爸爸妈妈放心。当然，我还是想说一声：谢谢爸爸妈妈！

My parents always treat me as a child, so they show their worries about my transfer. But I want to tell mydear parents: a bird grows up, it will fly in the sky by himself, so I grow up, and I will walk in the wayof my life by myself. Don’t worry! I know my goal to come here ,and know my responsibilities in the future. I’m ready for everything.Of course I still want to say : thank you—my dear parents.

据介绍，光华学院复旦附中校区的老师们均为来自世界各地的精英，有着丰富的教学经验，我听了非常高兴。接下来的两年，我们会像朋友一样朝夕相处，我希望各位老师对我严格要求，我也一定会珍惜各种学习机会。我相信，有老师的精心培养，加上自己的勤奋努力，我一定能在各个方面取得很大进步，并朝着我的梦想进一步迈进。在此，我想对光华学院复旦附中校区的老师们说，能与你们相处两年是我的荣幸！我坚信两年后光华学院能见证我们不一样的师生情谊。谢谢！

Based on the introduction, the teachers of ShanghaiGuanghua CollegeFudan Campuscome from all over the world, they are all high carlibre and have rich experience in teaching. Ifeel so lucky and so grateful. We’ll get along well with them in the coming two years. I hope myteacher treat me very strictly, and I will cherish all chances during my study.Excellent teaching and good learning method, I believe that I would  realize  my dream. And friendship betweenteachers and students will be recorded in the history of Guanghua College.Thanks a lot!

我以前经常羡慕爸爸妈妈有很多同学，他们工作在世界各地。他们相处得很好，经常聚会，谈天论地，事业上相互激励。今天，我可以自豪地告诉爸爸妈妈，我也将有很多来自上海、杭州、南京、武汉等全国各地的同学了。我期待着与你们友好相处的日子。同时也让光华学院见证我们难忘的同学友谊！我想对我的新同学们说：我爱你们！

I often envy my parents ,because theyhave so many classmates all over the world. They get along with well, gather together regularly, chat everything friendly, encourage each other in business.Today I can proudly tell my dear parents my new classmates come from differentcities such as Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing,Wuhan and so on. I’m waiting to get along with you friendly in thefuture. In the same time, Guanghua college will witness our friendship. I wantto say to my classmates: I love you.

上海是个美丽的国际化大都市，它以宽广的胸怀迎接着每一个有梦想有憧憬的人，让我们的人生在这里起航，驶向前方!

Shanghai is a beautiful internationalcity, it has opened itsarms to embrace anyone who hasdreams. Let’s start here, for a brighter future!
